Wulfenite (classic AZ)

Item Description

A striking and beautiful, 2.1 cm, compound wulfenite crystal is jauntily perched on matrix on this aesthetic and fine miniature from the famous Red Cloud Mine. The very glassy, gemmy to translucent crystal has rich reddish-orange color and a sharp beveled edge. The crest of the crystal is contacted and has only the slightest of edge bruising on the back side. From the style, this is a classic older specimen dating from the 1960s to early 1990s.
