Item Description

Stout, butterscotch-colored wulfenite blades in a striking boxwork pattern on this showy, excellent and unusual two-sided specimen from the famous Glove Mine of Arizona. The windowpanes, to 3.0 cm, are highly lustrous and translucent. Unusual and interesting, in that one side of the prisms have a secondary overgrowth of much smaller oxide-coated wulfenites. There are only a few broken crystals - its almost impossible to find a pristine Glove wulfenite. This is a very fine example of the species and famed locale. Excellent quality older material. Valued $1000.
