Item Description

Butterscotch-colored, moderately lustrous and translucent tabular wulfenite prisms, to 2.2 cm, are richly clustered on both sides of the vuggy, barite-rich, sculptural gossan matrix. This is showy, very rich and excellent material from the famous finds at Touissit in the late 1970s and early 80s. From an East Coast collection. Previously in the Joe Cilen Collection, a well-known New Jersey collector who passed away in 1997. His collection numbered over 23,000 specimens! This piece is numbered 10,702. Classic Touissit wulfenite.
