This habit of wulfenite is very rare in the world, and a large find of them in 2008 really surprised people, at this famous old locality. Such bypyramidal crystals had been found before here, but rarely. In january of 2008, a huge pocket came out featuring large fine specimens such as this: A beautiful, 3-dimensional specimen with sharp crystals to 1.7 cm, featuring that big, blocky primary crystal right in the middle.
