Wulfenite and Baryte (Hefendehl Coll.)

This is an incredibly attractive and aesthetic combination specimen from the mines in Morocco, featuring bright wulfenite perched on natural pedestals for display. We've seen a plethora of the yellow Wulfenites from Morocco over the years, but very few of these bright orange ones! Two large and one small fan of tangerine-orange bladed Wulfenites are nicely composed atop clusters of creamy colored, indistinct Baryte crystals and clusters. The Wulfenites are a saturated orange and pretty much opaque and they stand almost vertically off the matrix in tight, barely fanned bladed aggregates 2 cm across except the smaller on which is 4 mm across. The contrast with the Baryte is so dramatic the Wulfenites just pop! Old material, perhaps from the 1990s. Valued $5000-6000. NOTE WE PREFER hand delivery on this, and will not ship outside the continental USA, sorry. It is too much of a fragility risk in shipment outside of the USA at the current time, although hand delivery to Munich can be arranged in the future.
