Item Description
There are more top tier localities for Wulfenite in Arizona than anywhere else in the United States. This piece is a fine quality small cabinet specimen from the Silver Bill Mine near Gleeson, Arizona featuring a coverage of sharp, lustrous, bladed, yellow crystals measuring up to 4 mm on oxidized matrix. These are not simply square-shaped blades, but rather "stop sign"-shaped crystals with modified corners, creating a very elegant appearance. Very little damage, and a good overall example of these lesser-seen Wulfenites. From the collection of Gerry Morvell.
