Wulfenite from the Ojuela Mine is one of the most recognizable classics from Mexico. This piece is a fine display quality miniature featuring not only large crystals for the locality, but of an unusual habit for the species. Prismatic Wulfenite is not common around the world, though Ojuela has produced plenty of them. What sets this piece is apart for me is that the largest crystal is not only doubly-terminated, but it measures 2.7 cm, which is significant for the species and the locality as one rarely finds crystals of Wulfenite over an inch. They are sharp, lustrous, and fine quality with a lovely orange hue aesthetically sitting on gossan matrix. Great quality all around, and a worthwhile pickup for anybody who collects miniatures, Wulfenites or Mexican minerals. Priced at $600 in the inventory
