Wulfenite

A hard to find locality specimen of Wulfenite from the lesser known Mobile Mine, in Clark County, Nevada. Small, sharp, butterscotch colored, thin, tabular crystals of Wulfenite measuring up to 2.5 mm can be seen on the display side of this small cabinet specimen. Associated somewhat lavender colored semi-spherical Calcite makes for a nice touch. I'm told that this piece was collected recently, possibly off the dumps of the mine. These are distinctive crystals in both their attractive habit and beautiful color. If you collect minerals of the southwestern US, secondary ore minerals, or specifically Wulfenite, do not miss out on this one. These are nearly impossible to find on the market, and most of the pieces I've seen are thumbnails off matrix.
