Wulfenite

Item Description

A rare, old-time specimen from the well-known but small Aurora mine. Striking, lustrous, rust-red, bi-pyramidal Wulfenite crystals to 1.3 cm aesthetically populate a matrix of white Calcite crystals. To me, the most striking feature is the almost metallic luster of the Wulfies, unusual and eye-catching. This is older material, and is seldom available now. This excellent piece is either from 1960s or close to it.
