An exquisite and pristine 1.5 x 1.4 cm compound wulfenite is aesthetically set on matrix on this very fine small cabinet from the famous 2003 Red Gem Pocket at the famed Red Cloud Mine. The gemmy and beautifully glassy crystal has rich reddish-orange color and the chisel terminations really enhance the crystal. The smaller wulfies, scattered calcite and microcrystalline oxide coating on the banded quartz matrix add pizzazz to this choice specimen. Very few are on the market today. Valued at $500-600.
