Item Description

A really unusual and attractive specimen from the famous Bleiberg District in Austria. The piece features dozens of sharp, richly colored, orange "sandwich"-esque tabular crystals with unique modifications on the edges. The crystals somewhat remind me of Wulfenites from Los Lamentos, Mexico or Mezica, Slovenia. Under close inspection, the crystals seems to have a second generation overgrowth featuring small tetragonal pyramidal crystals on the tabular crystals. In fact, under the microscope, I saw a lot of interesting morphologies for Wulfenite, and if you collect this material, don't miss out on this interesting specimen of this classic material.
