Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, reddish-orange, wulfenite prisms to 1.3 cm along with numerous smaller crystals are attractively scattered on this impressive large plate from the famous 1996 find at the Red Cloud Mine. A druse of glassy micro calcite rhombs in the center of the piece adds character. Essentially pristine, with only barely noticeable edge wear to a couple of the larger wulfies. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. A reasonably rich and excellent quality large specimen from this find. Ex Schlichter Collection and fairly valued at $1000.
