Item Description

An excellent wulfenite thumbnail from the famous Red Cloud Mine and the Jaime Bird Collection. The aesthetically set gemmy and glassy, to 1.2 cm, are a highly lustrous, reddish-orange and have fabulous, razor-sharp, beveled edges. One crystal is pristine and the very trivial edge wear to the other is certainly a modest detraction to this fine older piece, that dates to the 1960s or early 70s finds. Jaime worked for Hamel Mining and got good rocks for his thumbnail collection. This is certainly one of them.
