Item Description
A lovely large miniature / small cabinet sized specimen of the famous Rowley Mine Wulfenites featuring gemmy, vivid orange colored "window pane" habit crystals measuring up to 6 mm, sitting atop bladed pinkish colored Baryte crystals on matrix. The Wulfenites are very attractive up close, and most of them are in very good condition, though there are some small contacted areas under magnification.
From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds who passed in August of 2020. Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011.
