Significant miniature sized cluster of bright, shiny, butterscotch Wulfenite from the well-known Touissit area in Morocco. The luster is excellent, as you can see by the reflection on the main crystal, and the color is appealing. The tabular, beveled crystals range from translucent to gemmy to opaque, with the largest Wulfenite being 3.3 cm across. An old, robust Wulfenite from this important Moroccan lead mine, it is in unusually good condition even considering the typical wear on the upper crystal, and it presents very well. Likely material from the famous finds at Touissit in the late 1970s and early 1980s, this is an aesthetic and well-balanced miniature. Valued $4-5k.
