Wulfenite

Item Description

Wulfenite is a well-known species from Tsumeb, as they are rather distinctive and don't typically resemble Wulfenites from other world localities. This showy and aesthetic miniature specimen features a very lustrous, sharp, well-formed, good sized tabular crystal of a gentle smoky golden hue measuring 3.2 cm on edge, aesthetically flaring off matrix. The Wulfenite crystal has an indentation where it grew into the matrix, and while the crystal is not 100% complete, that indentation is not really damage, just and interrupted growth. There are some small nicks in a few spots, so the Wulfenite is not 100% pristine, but the gemminess, dramatic arrangement and larger than average size make it a very desirable example of these wonderful Wulfenites. The piece comes with a free custom acrylic display base. Valued $1,750-$2,000.
