Item Description
Most of the time, crystals of Wulfenite are typically found in thin tabular blades, but some of the most iconic specimens from any world locality are the classic examples from the Los Lamentos Mountains of Mexico. These specimens features a notably thicker blocky crystal habit, which is quite rare for the species. This small cabinet features very attractive, thick, fine quality, beautiful "burnt caramel" colored tabular crystals measuring up to 1.6 mm, sitting on a layer of white Calcite matrix. The crystals have a superb "slick" vitreous luster, which gives them character and a beautiful reflective sheen. If you collect Wulfenites, secondary ore minerals, or specifically minerals of Mexico, these specimens are a staple.
