Item Description
Attractive yellowish-orange Wulfenite crystals in an unusual prismatic tetragonal habit measuring up to 1.4 cm are sitting on a matrix of limonite gossan from the classic locality at Mapimi. This material is fairly common on the market these days, but it's really gorgeous, and it will not be around forever, so don't miss out. Some of the smaller crystals have beautiful bi-colored "banding", where the center of the crystals re a chocolate brown color, with yellowish hues on each end. The habit is what really stands out, and most Wulfenite crystals are thin / tabular, so thick prismatic / elongated crystals are seldom seen in the species.
