Item Description

A classic large miniature / small cabinet sized Wulfenite specimen from the historic Erupción Mine in the Los Lamentos Mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico. The piece hosts several sharp, lustrous, rather thick, well-formed, caramel-orange colored tabular crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge, sitting on a layer of Calcite on matrix. Minor nicks can be seen, but the piece is still very presentable. You don't see a lot of Wulfenite specimens from his famous mine on the market anymore, so don't miss out on this one. Priced at $950. From the collection of Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and prominent mineral collector from near Lisbon, Portugal (https://www.mindat.org/user-11954.html). He assembled his mineral collection over the course of 60 years, and built a fine worldwide display collection that we recently purchased.
