Item Description

Spectacular wulfenite in size and quality for this important locality! This is a glassy and translucent, parallel grouping of tabular, almost window-pane clear Wulfenite crystals that is exceedingly good for anywhere but particularly fine quality for Tsumeb. The crystals are a rich yellow-caramel color and have a dazzling luster! The largest crystal in this stunning group measures two inches across and individual crystals average 1.5 mm in thickness and display delicately tapered edges. This is just an exquisite Tsumeb Wulfenite with great composition and color. Wulfenite specimens from Tsumeb of this caliber are rarely seen in today's mineral marketplace. Valued $5000-plus.
