Item Description
Woodhouseite is a very rare species known in fine crystals ONLY from this old locality, and finds might date to the 1960s and earlier. This is a rich, showy aggregate group of sharp flesh-pink crystals to 3 or 4 mm, of this very rare phosphate. A fine addition to any species suite. Note as a bonus, for what it is worth to those who know and respect the name, that Alex's catalog says this once had a label from Willard "Perky" Perkin, the original thumbnail box inventor and collector. However, the label has gone missing and we can only add here in writing.
