Item Description

Wollastonite is a common mineral found in thermally metamorphosed siliceous carbonates, in the igneous rocks and as a skarn deposit. It is very uncommon on the market from the many deposits in Madagascar. This is a fairly sharp crystal of pearlescent, white blocky wollastonite from the Matioli Collection. Crystals of this size are uncommon worldwide. A must of for the species or locality collector.
