Wolframite w/ Fluorite & Quartz

Item Description

An aesthetic combination piece from the famous Yaogangxian Mine. A fine cluster of sharp, lustrous, parallel-growth wolframite crystals is surrounded by a forest of glassy, transparent to translucent quartz points. A rich preferential dusting of tiny, gemmy, light blue fluorite cubes on one side of the wolframites really adds class to this excellent combination piece. The back edge of the large wolframite, 4.0 cm, has just a bit of out-of-sight bruising and the periphery wear to the quartz is certainly not a detraction. Choice material.
