Item Description

A spectacular, highly unusual and sculptural combination from this noted locale. A pristine, glassy, transparent to translucent, terminated quartz crystal has partially engulfed both sides of a lustrous, striated, tabular wolframite crystal. One face is covered with brassy pyritohedrons and a couple of densely, stepped-growth, fluorite octahedrons, to 9 mm, on the left side (purple fluorescence). The two attached quartz crystals add much pizzazz. It looks like a sparkly bonnet atop the quartz! Complete all-around and in super shape. The contacting to the front of the small quartz crystals and barely noticeable periphery wear to the the wolframite are noted, but certainly have very minimal impact to the overall to the outstanding presentation of the rare combination from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Older unique material, no longer available and valued by Herb at $650, more than six years ago. A fascinating 360-degree specimen!
