Item Description
A rare, classic, euhedral, wolframite crystal from the Czech side of this historic tin mining district in the Erzgebirge. One face has a textbook chisel termination on this splendent, dark metallic-gray/black, layered crystal. The trivial bit of bruising and contacted faces, with very little actual damage, have minimal impact to this impressive and hefty, two-sided ore crystal. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection and collected in the 1950s.
