Item Description
A sharp, very rare crystal of Wodginite from the Itatiaia Mine several years ago. It is a black, submetallic lustered, spearpoint-like crystal with fairly sharp faces and edges. Wodginite is a rare manganese-tin-tantalum oxide and crystals this good are not common! This find produced some crystals around this size along with a few other large crystals that are some of the largest reported for the species! This piece is a very notable crystal for the species from Alvaro's collection! Such crystals should be valued over $1500, and are almost impossible to find.
