Item Description

A classic and outstanding, hexagonal, tan, witherite crystal strikingly accented with amber fluorite, snow-white bladed barite and a bit of purple fluorite from this noted locale. The lustrous, translucent, blocky crystal has striking, well-developed, stepped-growth faces and a very interestingly etched termination. Complete all-around and pristine. Superb older material from the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine. Super white fluorescence, as you would expect. Mined ca. in the 1960s. Ex H.M. Brennecke and Bill Severance Collections. Valued $800-1000. Try to find another combination witherite of this exceptional quality.
