Item Description

Specimens attributed to the Bethel Level of the famous Minerva No. 1 Mine are rare. This fine old-timer (mined cal. 1960s) is a striking rounded mounded brain coral-like mass of tightly intergrown pseudo-hexagonal dipyramids. The snow-white coating adds much pizzazz to the glassy, translucent, yellow witherite visible on the sides of the piece. Every turn presents a different perpsective to the crystals.
