Item Description

An exceptional and very aesthetic Minerva Mine witherite cluster. Sharp, conical, hexagonal crystals with frosted faces and typical layering are jauntily intergrown in opposing directions. The striking and superlative large, pristine, doubly terminated crystal is 4.8 cm. The bit of attached baryte is a nice accessory. Bright snow-white fluorescence. The attachment is at the base of two of the crystals. Classic and elegant older material from this renowned locale, probably dating to the 1960s or 70s. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. Valued at $750.
