Item Description

A classic, hexagonal, tan, witherite crystal nicely accented with snow-white barite from this noted locale. The lustrous, translucent, blocky crystal has striking, well-developed, stepped-growth faces. A complete all-around and pristine floater. Very modest contacting, with no damage, per se, is noted. Highly representative older material from the famous Rosiclare Sub-District. Super white fluorescence, as you would expect. Ex Mullane Collection.
