Item Description

An attractive miniature specimen featuring an unusual pseudohexagonal (orthorhombic) doubly-terminated prismatic crystal of chalky white to slightly pale yellow Witherite associated with minor purple cubic Fluorite. The piece comes with a custom lucite base. Good quality and it just looks "different" from most Witherites from the Minerva No. 1. This area is completely closed down and will never produce these specimens again. This specimen was mined in the 1960s. Ex Ross Lillie collection (#RCL2327) by way of Rick and Deanna Russell, and originally from William B. Sanborn (#1866). Valued at $1200.
