Item Description
Native Silver by no means is rare around the world, but specimens from Cornwall, England are exceedingly difficult to find on the market. This piece hails from the famous Levant Mine, and is the FIRST piece of silver we've ever had to offer from the locality. The mine operated from 1793 to 1930, so it's safe to say that this piece is easily 100+ years old. A group of twisting, aesthetic "wires" of native silver with a dark antique patina make for a showy thumbnail specimen. For a Cornwall silver, it's a fantastic overall specimen, but it would be a good specimen from any locality. If you collect native elements, rare locality specimens, or minerals of Cornwall, you cannot afford to miss out on this little beauty.
