Wire Silver ("Birds Nest")

Please note that this specimen came originally labeled as coming from "Koenigsberg-Schemnitz, Bohemia". Based upon other examples I've seen from Banska Stiavnica (Schemnitz), I am certain that this is the correct locality, though not in Bohemia. A group of tighly packed "birds nest"-equse wires of Native Silver sit atop a group of somewhat structured / cavernous Quartz matrix. Beautiful form, very hard to find, and this piece I would say could be around 100 years old. From an old East Coast collection, and accompanied by a label from John Albanese. Valued at $700.
