Wire Silver

This is a wonderful and showy little thumbnail specimen of these hard to find Silvers. It's a flattened group, but has a fantastic shape/appearance with a gorgeous antique patina. I love the overall form, as the piece almost resembles some kind of plant life. This piece would make a great addition to any thumbnail suite, a native element collection or a collection of Canadian minerals. The Wire Silver specimens from the Beaverdell area (namely the Highland Bell Mine) in British Columbia are incredibly beautiful, and notably difficult to find on the market. The best specimens are every bit as attractive and charming as those from old classic localities like Kongsberg, Norway or Freiberg, Germany or even contemporary material from Peru or China.
