Wire Silver

A nice little wire Silver from recent finds at the Hongda Mine of China. There are few minerals that actually take wire form, and Silver has to be the most well-known species for this particular crystal habit. This mine has produced some amaing Silver and Acanthite specimens over the last few years, and even the smaller pieces like this one are attractive The pieces has good form with the classic wire shape, and would make a great addition to a thumbnail suite, a collection of native element thumbnails, or just a group of Silvers or Chinese minerals.
