Item Description
Please note: This specimen is labeled as coming from state of Hidalgo, Mexico (with another label that suggest it's possibly from the Zimapán area), but I strongly feel that it's actually from Fresnillo based upon the style / appearance, and the fact that I've never seen a wire silver specimen from Hidalgo. This piece is a beautiful and showy thumbnail featuring an attractive group of wire silver, with an excellent antique patina, free of matrix. The piece is displayable from a few angles and is a great example of this classic material.
