The impressive curved broad rope, smaller wires and the striking, sharply casted flattened areas (after calcite rhombs?) with the embedded calcite are the highlights of this very nifty, two-sided and 3-dimensional piece. The luster is bright on the rope to a nearly matte finish. Classic and excellent Kongsberg silver. Valued at $2000 in a recent trade.
