Wiluite (RARE Vesuvianite species) ex Carlton Davis Coll.

Item Description

A doubly terminated, sharp crystal of the ultra rare vesuvianite species, wiluite, from the Type Locality. This lustrous, dark olive-green, floater crystal is pristine. One termination has a pyramidal termination and the other end is a modified pinacoid. Very interesting! These crystals originally sold cheaply as vesuvianite, until they were determined to be a new species. This is a super piece. Ex Carlton Davis Collection.
