Scintillating spherical aggregates of glassy brick-red, Mn-rich, Willemite variety Troostite microcrystals solidly compose this sculptural, very vuggy segmented crust from famed Tsumeb. Uncommon turquoise-blue rosasite botryoids, to 5 mm, are scattered about and are a rare and desirable accessory. The piece also hosts near-colorless willemite on one side and much tiny white rhombic-appearing calcite or dolomite? crystals on the other side.
