Item Description

A classic and excellent combination from the famous Sterling Hill Mine. Two, sharp and well-terminated, lustrous, light reddish-brown willemite crystals (troostite, the Mn-bearing varietal), to 2.6 cm, are jauntily set on the massive mounded calcite matrix with more crystal sections, front and back. The large crystal on the top of the back with the lightly dinged corner is 3.0 cm. Franklinite is embedded in the very large willemite crystal section. Choice and classic older combination material from this famous mine.
