Willemite on Zincolivenite

Item Description

This glistening and colorful Tsumeb miniature has a display face festooned with tiny, bright green Zincolivenitre crystals embellished with clusters of vibrant, yellow-orange Willemite crystals (that are probably cadmium-rich). Dozens upon dozens of light green, well formed, prismatic Zincolivenite crystals up to 1 mm form patchworks all over the front of the piece and these are in turn highlighted by bright yellow-orange clusters and single crystals of Willemite also to about 1 mm in size. This piece looks fantastic under a loupe or a microscope! Ex. Shields & Frances Flynn collection. Rare combination!
