Item Description

A sculptural, vuggy Tsumeb specimen covered with gemmy and lustrous, blue-green willemite crystals on a gossan matrix. This is a large, very rich, showy and EXCELLENT specimen of this desirable willemite varietal. Tiny, uncommon quartz crystal sprays are hidden in a couple of vugs amongst the willemite. .A bonus on the back is the 100% coverage of sparkly, sintered, off-white, dolomite microcrystals. Valued $800-1000 for size and richness, this is a rarity from Tsumeb. Ex Rob Smith Collection.
