Tsumeb is one of if not the world's greatest mineral locality, which produced a large number of fine quality minerals, ranging from common to exceptionally rare. What really made Tsumeb so special was that the majority of the species found there were either the best examples ever found, or very high in the ranks worldwide. Willemite is a well known and sought after species from Tsumeb that is found is a wide range of colors and habits. This piece hosts lustrous, beautiful seafoam green blue colored crystallized stalactites of Willemite on matrix. The individual crystals on the stalactites are beautiful to see under the microscope or with a loupe. There is a bit of damage, as two of the stalactites are broken, but others are complete an undamaged. Gem quality Willemite is not common around the world, especially with this color. A beautiful piece of this attractive and classic material.
