Item Description

Willemite specimens are uncommon from the Grootfontein District. Scintillating radial sprays of gemmy, colorless, acicular crystals totally cover the undulating surface of this excellent and very rich miniature from the famous Berg Aukus deposit. The back has been sawed to enhance the display. Ex DeVito Collection. Bright yellowish-white fluroescence with SW UV light.
