Item Description
Willemite is one of the more sought after species from Tsumeb, due to its beautiful color and gemminess. This piece hosts lustrous, gemmy, gorgeous blue colored groups of Willemite measuring up to about 3 mm on matrix. The crystal themselves may not be the largest from the locality, but they look fantastic up close under magnification. A beautiful piece of this beloved material from the world's most famous locality. Valued t $250. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7820). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
