Willemite

Item Description

Willemite is a well known and sought after species from Tsumeb that is found is a wide range of colors and habits. This piece hosts lustrous, sharp, intergrown stark brick-red colored crystal groups of Willemite (possibly Troostite?) with intense green radial aggregates of Willemite plus minor Calcite, along with small blue "sprays" of Plancheite and / or Rosasite (?). The crystals are not terribly big, but they are beautiful to see under the microscope or with a loupe. A lovely association piece of this classic material.
