Item Description
Willemite is found in a variety of colors and styles from Tsumeb, and some of the best examples of the species ever found have come from this locality. This particular specimen features a coverage of small, lustrous, sparkling, translucent, trigonal crystals of a gentle golden-greenish hue (the label questions if they are possibly cadmium-bearing, but I cannot say for certain) on matrix. The crystals are best seen with magnification, as they are well-formed and distinct. No major damage, and this is certainly an uncommon style for the species from this celebrated locality.
