A textbook, aesthetic crystal of Whiteite that has good luster and sharp form for this rare species, nicely intergrown with multiple crystals of Lazulite along the back and on the top. Free from contact, a competition-level thumbnail of this normally uglier species. This is the best location for the species, for robust large crystals, and it is very remote. It involves hiking into the Yukon after being dropped off by helicopter! From older finds, and the noted thumbnail collection of Marilyn Dodge. She was a well known thumbnail competitor in the East Coast shows in the 1980s and 1990s.
