Item Description
Whiteite is a rare phosphate, and some of the most beautiful (and well known) crystals of the material are found in the Yukon Territory. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece is hosts very attractive, good sized, fine quality, sharp, lustrous, monoclinic crystals of tan Whiteite with deep blue Lauzlite and minor Quartz. I have not seen many of these specimens on the market in the last few years, so don't pass this one up as it's a great association specimen with Whiteite crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm.
