Item Description
Whiteite is a rare phosphate, and some of the most beautiful (and well known) crystals of the material are found in the Yukon Territory. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece is hosts very attractive, sharp, lustrous, monoclinic crystals of tan Whiteite with deep blue Lazulite on matrix. The largest Whiteite measures 1.1 cm across I have not seen many of these specimens on the market in the last few years, so don't pass this one up. It has a good amount of crystals, and how often can one obtain a piece with such nice aesthetics and crystal size in a full sized thumbnail.
